Site entry to forum post?

Is it possible to have an entry that's posted on my MT based site to be automatically turned into a forum post within a certain forum?

For instance:

In MT I create the post titled 'Yargh Blargh'
Is it going to create a Forum post of the same title and content in a particular subforum?

Can it be made to do this? It would be very handy to basically set up the forum to act as the comment engine. Each MT post could be viewed via the forum or via it's normal static page. On the static page a plugin could be whipped up to pull in the comments from the forum I'd imagine as well.

Ideas? Thoughts?
