MT 4.12 Crashes Upon Install

I am having an installation problem. I purchased and uploaded everything to my MT 4.12 install.

However, when MTForum.pl is present in my Plugins directory, MT shows this error on all pages:

500 Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

When I remove the file, MT loads fine, and the other plugins appear. Please assist!
