Battles w/ Black Dice, and Gang Gang Dance A whole day of home-grown bands that have garnered an international reputation as experimental sonic groundbreakers. Battles ignores the rules of tempo and timing, creating an abstract and timeless blend of instrumentation, computerized beats and manipulated voices, to craft a uniquely organized sound. In 2006, the band released their debut album EP C/B EP, a collection of obscure EP releases. Their new full length album, Mirrored, has attracted international acclaim. Black Dice, formed at the Rhode Island School of Design a decade ago, have two albums out: Broken Ear Record and Manoman.
