After five grueling months, Barack Obama is in fact the first African-American nominee of a major political party. Please join Gotham Obamans and SuperNova7 productions June 12th from 8- 10 PM at China 1 bar and restaurant for a night of jazz, drinks, and celebration. Our very own Courtney Bryan, a rising star in the Jazz world, will be there with guest Marti Newland of Opera Noire of New York performing songs for this special celebration. We will also be screening a documentary on Senator Obamas' return to his native Kenya, followed by stops in South Africa and the Sudan.
