This will be a great plugin for a lot of sites. Will it be possible to create extra fields, so commercial sites can gather additional information about there visitors?

No luck logining in with IE7. Registering works, but I can't get the login to stick. I do see a javascript error on the register.html page (line 66, char 27) which is "expected identifier." I'll have a look at it in IE6 to see if that works...
Firefox seems to work, since I can post this.

Thanks for pointing this out Kevin! Your guess was close, but wrong ;) The problem was the javascript that was trying to reset the "return" hidden field. Apparently "return" is a reserved keyword in Javascript -- this has been fixed in v1.01, now available at the download button on the Comment Registration page.

Pretty cool, if I hadn't been using the NoScript plugin for Firefox! (My fault, that I hadn't enabled the script on this page.)
Too bad the Url isn't automatically filled in from the user account. I suppose the cookie will take care of that, though.

Also too bad the profile image is linked to TypeKey still, but the username I chose here does not have a TypeKey account, so a 404 Not Found results when clicking that image.
I suppose the image could be left out of the template, but maybe another could be used? Would Gravitar work with this plugin?

Hi Curtis,
The URL field is handled the same as with TypeKey Auth. The thinking, I suspect, is that the commenter can use a different URL depending on the site and context. But yes, the "remember personal info" cookie should take care of that part.
I have on my todo list a replacement tag for the "typekey icon". Ideally this will be a smart tag that can tell the different between a TK commenter and a local one, but that could be tricky...
I haven't played around with gravitar yet, but a natural extension of this plugin is commenter profiles with additional info such as a photo, etc.

I switched to Host Gator because our previous web host was getting to be unrespnsive to problems. Our network was often slow and they kept telling me there wasn't anything wrong. I manage a business and therefore can't possibly afford for our servers to be down. Incredible difference between who I was hosted with and Host Gator.

The story belongs to you, although here I'd recommend that promoting the same story to numerous magazines is a small impolite in that each magazine wants to be individual and different. Getting rid of fat has to be the most difficult thing ever! Especially because I eat fast food like it's my job! I LOVE PAMPERS!!! I started to use Huggies on my newborn but they smelled like pee. Plus they felt a Little rough. It depends on what size you need, but I used pampers saddlers until she was in size three cruisers. They were soft and they looked like they were comfortable on her. I also love love pampers sensitive wipes. My daughter is 8 months old now and she has never had a diaper rash!! Huggies wipes are too wet. Good Luck!

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
